With the launch of the D:VERSE NFT platform, Italian fashion company Diesel is increasing its position in the non-fungible token (NFT) industry.
It plans to offer collections that include physical and digital things, as well as promote a Discord-based digital community. Digital collectibles of runway items, limited edition physical clothing, footwear, and accessories will be included in the collections. The first collection will be based on elements from the Fall/Winter 2022 collection that were shown at this year’s Milan Fashion Week. On the D:VERSE platform, there will be four distinct NFTs available for purchase on a first come, first served basis. However, no pricing information has been made public. In addition, one single edition NFT will be offered on Rarible’s platform through an auction.
Diesel isn’t a novice when it comes to NFTs. The brand teamed up with The Fabricant, a digital fashion business, and Neuno, an NFT platform that specializes in delivering premium digital wearables to the metaverse.
